I just want to say thank you to all of you: thanks for joining Camp Brian, thanks for your constant support and thanks for reading my blog.
Life knocks me down every morning. But it is much easier to get up when you have such a great support group as Camp Brian. What I appreciate the most is that they still take the time to listen to me and take me seriously. I'm also very grateful for how much awareness of the disease that Camp Brian has created. Soon, we will be taking individual grant applications, some of which will be for the aid of other families and agencies that are also battling Parkinson's disease.
I am so proud of the community service that Camp Brian provides, from small scale to large. Our own event, the live and silent auction (and a lot more - food and beverages, if you know what I mean), is coming up in just a couple of weeks. By attending Spring Break with us on March 16th, you will help in raising awareness and revenue for those with Parkinson's.
You may or may not know this fact, but Parkinson's is the #2 neurological disease, just behind Alzheimer's; soon enough, we will pass them and they won't even know it!
Thanks again. I hope to see you on March 16th at Archbishop Murphy High School in Everett!
